Types of courses
Basic course: for therapists who participate in the seminar for the first time: intensive course (5 days) about the Ackermann-method. After having completed the course successfully the participant will receive a certificate as proof that he/she has learned the basic knowledge of chiropractic according to Dr. Ackermann. The participant should practice the techniques learned in the course for at least 6 months (up to 12 months if he/she has just a few patients) in his/her own practice after having finished the basic course. The participant has the possibility to contact the consultants/teachers via our network website https://ackermann-network.com during this “internship”.
Advanced course: for participants who have practiced on their own according to the Ackermann-method for at least 6 months after the basic course. An exam (theoretical and practical components) will be given after the advanced course. The participant will receive the certificate “Master of Chiropractic according to Dr. Ackermann” (non-academic degree). Pre-requisition for receiving this certificate is a positive exam result. This title, which has been awarded for more than 50 years now, is a certificate for the qualification of the Ackermann-method. However, this title is no university title (MSc/MA).
Refresher course: for those who have completed the advanced course and who have already been working according to the Ackermann-method successfully. They will have the possibility to refresh their theoretical and practical knowledge during a refresher course. We will grant a discount of 50 % for the refresher course.
Honor course: for those who have completed their advanced course and have already been working according to the Ackermann-method for at least 3 years. They can register for an additional advanced course. After having participated in the course they will receive a certificate of honor. The Ackermann Comfort AB reserves the right to change the „Master title“ at any time without informing the degree holder.
